Principle Educational Psychologist

Psychology People are recruiting for a Principle Educational Psychologist on behalf of one of it’s clients in the South West.
The role is a Locum position from April – August 2014.
Our client has recently outlined it’s further commitment to education. The areas that our client will focus upon are:
- Raising young people’s attainment to be in the top 25% of Local Authorities in England;
- Improving every school inn the Authority so that they are good or better;
- Ensuring every child gets a good start in life and leaves primary school able to read, write and use numbers;
- Ensuring every young person leaves secondary school to go on to a place in education or employment.

The successful candidate will have a key role to play in the new and dynamic ‘Trading with Schools’ Education Team.
Applications are invited from those with at least 3 years’ experience as a fully qualified educational psychologist with an honours degree in Psychology. You must have a proven track record as a practitioner and of managing change and building positive and effective teams in a multi-agency environment. The successful candidate will show an understanding of the changing national agenda for school improvement and inclusion.
