Psychology People are a specialist provider of Locum and Permanent Educational Psychology and SEN recruitment services to Local Authorities and Schools across the UK and we are seeking a Locum Educational Psychologist.
Are you looking for a change, first job as an Educational Psychologist, or new challenges?’
If so we would very much like to hear from you.
We are seeking applications from HCPC registered and suitably qualified full time EPs to join our clients established Educational Psychology Team. We are particularly interested in applicants who have an interest/experience in project work, research and creative applications in Educational Psychology.
The EPS is a friendly and supportive team of Educational Psychologists with embedded clinical and peer supervision practices. They value continued professional development and are reflective in our practice.
Our client is based in West London and is ethnically and socially diverse with a growing population. It is an exciting borough to work in with excellent transport links to Central London and surrounding areas.
It stretches from Chiswick in the east (being nearer Central London) to the western end of Bedfont (not far from Heathrow airport.)
They have moved to electronic systems of processing (we are paperless) and operate a’ Worksmart’ philosophy enabling remote working for all staff.
The Educational Psychology Service is highly regarded by schools and other partners within the Local Authority. They also have close links with Health colleagues and Social Care Services. They are forward thinking and ambitious about the future of our young people. They are increasing our capacity to deliver on three key priorities:
- to respond positively to our schools’ wish for more time from the service
- to increase the level of preventative and systemic work in schools
- to provide an environment in which EPs can work creatively with schools and partners and develop their special interests.
Our client offer a core, centrally funded service to all schools and have a successful Service Level Agreement for traded non-statutory work with all of the borough’s academies and free schools. Colleagues in their third year of doctoral training who are able to start in September 2017 are welcome to apply.
We are also interested in expressions of interest from Associate Educational Psychologists who may be able to assist with maternity leave covers, the odd week, or a few assessments from time to time.
If you are an experienced, qualified and HCPC registered Educational Psychologist and would like to have an informal discussion regarding this opportunity, then please do not hesitate to contact us on 0208 249 6454 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Psychology People are always recruiting for experienced Locum and Permanent Educational Psychologists, Senior Educational Psychologists, Principal Educational Psychologist and SEN related staff for clients across the UK.
